This time I've settled in on Bluesky and focused more on original artworks. They may be less attractive than fanarts but with how this website works they can get a fair visibility too so it's fine!

I think the main reason why I can never hate stories with a “power of friendship” message is that living through a time period where self-centeredness and loneliness are at historic highs, I can confirm how much it sucks and that finding a group of weirdos who treat you like family fixes everything.

another big reason also has to be that this app doesn't punish its users for being social. there's no such things as social score, too much reposts, no links, and no replying too fast kind of BS. i've been having a good time interacting with everyone freely, just the way i prefer !
Imo the reason Bsky feels more comfy for artists is bcs the community genuinely trying to engage and making mutual support, not just liking posts then scroll past it like any other socmed platforms. Thus, I will try to comment more and I encourage you to do the same thing! :D

One of the early changes Elon made was putting Twitter API behind a paywall with absurd rates. In result you can't share video game screenshots and clips directly from a console anymore and many hobbyist, research and utility projects and silly bots had to shut down.

I've seen people on Twitter sharing a (outdated) "potential app" meme about Bluesky. With the current management TT doesn't have even potential. It's years of no good changes, just shitty adjustments to algorithm against average users and spitting on creators. Most people on bsky know both services.
