They've learned to put the most vague text about "assistance in developing *some* assets" (sweetened with gibberish about creative expression) and it can be, from recent cases, anything between overpainted images, screwing over voice actors and absolute Ghibli-style sewage.

In a Kotaku article there's an example of new image that is just the same pic but with more overpaint to fix those melted faces and hands so you know a placeholder is just a flimsy excuse. I could even let them pass eye-rolling if they patched it with new illustrations but this is so tiresome.
