The person from that youtube channel a few people watch.
I got to take part in the big red arrow club's christmas quiz this year. It was a lot of fun, Andy (HBR) did a cracking job organising things, with Dave from This Week in Retro as the host giving us all a good laugh.

RE:Enthused has been running for 10 years, in that time i've made the first videos on several machines, cleared up bad information, helped improve emulation, made open-source parts and quit once
I came back because of the people who watch my videos, thanks to all of you.

I made a video, as I occasionally do. This one is about the world of email before we all started using Internet email, in particular company group mail.

We're going to do it all over again! Very excited to announce RetroFest 2026 to be held at Swindon's STEAM museum on the 30th/31st May. If you'd like to exhibit, just full in the form - and if you'd like to come, why not buy a ticket! They also make wonderful Christmas presents :) - retrofest.uk

Next week many of us will all be at CFCH in Cambridge, looking forwards to seeing lots of you there. Apparently however they are almost out of tickets, so if you don't have one yet and you fancy going it might be a good to buy one.
Oh wow, this time next we'll be in full swing! Tickets for the Saturday are close to selling out - www.computinghistory.org.uk/det/74558/Re... - alternatively, Sunday will be quieter, but still the same wonderful exhibitors - www.computinghistory.org.uk/det/74909/re... - see you all next weekend!

Only 2 weeks to go until many of us will be in Cambridge talking about old games and the machines that ran them. For me I'll be spending most the weekend talking about one of the earliest beginnings of computer games, and you thought mainframes where all about business.

This video has taken a long time for me to put together. However I think it might be the first time a Kubernetes cluster has been used to provide file/print services to a BBC micro using Econet. youtu.be/-Hs55amrFW0?...

Creating a new NetwareVM has proved a little bit more tricky than initially I hoped. I wanted todo a fresh install of Netware 6.5 as I wanted to see what the last version of netware was like. However it's an awkward OS driver wise, as it support some more modern hardware, but 3rd party vendors where

Exciting things happening in the world of pdp.
Progress on the new #PiDP-1 (logically, the new PDP-1 replica) is sufficient to open a Hackaday project page for it: hackaday.io/project/2025...

One more month, is the idea, and then it is done! Angelo and I will be doing a two-week sprint that should tie up all the loose ends in April.
Replica of the PDP-1: PiDP-1
The DEC PDP-1 was, in many ways, at the root of modern computing: interactive - with keyboard and graphics display. It spawned spacewar, the very first computer video game; teco, the first text editor...

Just finished my final calling gig as part of Whitby Folk Week, I am wiped out, but very happy. I've had a great set of bands I got to work with, Out of Hand, Banter, and Tenpenny bit, all putting in great performances. The fact we ended on a 48bar jib version of the NextGen theme made me v happy.

An incredible video from Matt, it makes you appreciate the effort that went in to making somthing we saw as a relatively cheap commodity item at the time.
So for the last 3 months, I decided to dive head first into the mouth of madness. Enjoy!

Maybe you're a huge AI fan and don't want to fund a film that takes a bit of a swipe against it?

But hey, help us get #InTheAlgorithmWeTrust made

We all know about cisco & many of us have probably been told its origin story. About how a husband & wife team invented the router while at Stanford, then started cisco. The only problem is thats not entirely what happened, it's more a tail of intellectual property theft
