2 yrs ago in CrossFit, stumbled on a box on my last jump of the workout, and hit the floor. My elbow was bent in the opposite direction. I was 60 years old at the time. I still do CrossFit.
Sr yr HS, I'm rover on my soccer team. Get slide tackled, ball sails forward. Feels like my shoe is filled w/ liquid. Stick a finger in my shoe... nothing. Can't shake it off. Other team on a breakaway, I'm last defender. They kick it to me. I can't put weight on bad foot. Kick ball out w/ bad foot.
Ball hit over my head in center field. My feet slipped as I tried to stop to pick it up. Went down on my glove hand. Stood up with my wrist hanging at a bizarre angle. Picked up the ball, hit the cutoff man, and only then passed out.
