This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

The weaponization of antisemitism does not make Jews safer. It does not make anyone safer.

Trump's fight with Harvard risks making Jewish students a scapegoat | Opinion
By reducing antisemitism to a partisan talking point, President Donald Trump undermines efforts to address it meaningfully.

This morning I laughed and immediately burst into tears. It sounded like my aunt Susie's laugh, as it has for years. I'd almost forgotten my dream and it brought me right back; Susie was visiting from FL. She laughed as she greeted our kitties. I heard it clear as a bell, it was a nice dream. ♥️♥️♥️

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

25th Anniversary of the Capitol Crawl. A good reminder that the power lies squarely with the people and we only get to keep/exercise the rights we demand.

Crip Camp is a great documentary about the Disability Rights movement if you need something to watch tonight!

What he said about Social Security payments has been repeatedly debunked - so the question isn’t whether he’s lying about this, the question is why.

What is this a pretext for? He and the GOP have long shown interest in going after Social Security. What are they going to try?

First, Donald Trump blamed Zelenskyy for Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

Then, he says he “trusts” Putin.

Now, he’s frozen bipartisan military aid.

It’s clear that Donald Trump is putting his fragile ego before our national security — siding with Putin over U.S. allies in Europe.

I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.

Tried to pick a movie Dad would've liked. Cool Runnings won by a landslide...

I think he would've liked that, and also what my cousin Devra said, "may his memory be a revolution"!

Love you, Dad! We carry on with your loving, inclusive, and generosity in our hearts. Thanks for the memories ❤️

The last flight I took, my seatmate was a very drunk 21 year old. The flight attendant asked her to buckle her seatbelt 3 times and she just flipped it over to make it look buckled. I'm not tryna ruin someone's day so I didn't say anything to the attendant, but I still wonder if I should have.
After that plane literally flipped upside down after smashing into the runway and 100% of people survived, I hope every person who ever said “what’s even the point of seatbelts on a plane” feels like a real doof.
