Hello folks, welcome to 2026! I try to post more regularly about my work as #GraphicDesigner and #artist, hobbies and life as #AuDHD, trying to combine all those topics while also dealing with #grief.
Running on low energy for days, not even my ADHD meds keep me up enough and my head is too full....like always.

I agree 100% and it saddens me that a majority of artists (and also mostly self-taught designers!) are selling themselves below their worth.
Calculation includes not only the hours to finish your work but also the materials you use and your expertise and experience!

Reminder for artists: don't get blinded by the "big number" for an art project. Remember to do the math.
$3,000 for a tarot card desk *sounds* great. But in reality you're only being paid $38.46 per artwork. And if each artwork takes 20 hours to make, you're getting paid $1.92/hr

A recent painting I did for one of my top tier members (The Enchantment Tier buff.ly/kWXeVWH ). They get an original painting every 3 months and get to choose what I paint for them. Pretty nice huh? I used sparkly pigment for this #unicorn which I think is essential!
