I'm catching up on the past few months of @remapradio.bsky.social right now, and Rob and Patrick have been periodically throwing in Sports! episodes that really hammer home my feelings about podcasts as performances.

Finally finding a clip that’s puts to words something that felt weird to me about the game when I played it a while back but was struggling in how to put it is satisfying. I liked the game, but did weirdly think those bits felt…out of place or tact on or strange feeling.

Apologies for the typo in today's schedule email! Not a recap! A recap of ideas for this week, perhaps?

This week at Remap, a return to reporting, continued Baby Steps, and we unleash Danika on The Sims. Plus, our (hopefully) final game of the year podcast! remapradio.com/articles/thi...

I love how @remapradio.bsky.social has basically become Waypoint 2.0 (in terms of hosts/people involved). I love that group and it was my go-to for anything video game related (alongside Giant Bomb). Having @danika.bsky.social back has been amazing. Check them out if you also miss that era!

lol not only do the read a review I wrote, later on in the episode they talk about how incredible Molly House is, my favorite board game of 2025. @remapradio.bsky.social continues to be the best (or at least the most Emoria-coded) gaming podcast.
My writing is EVERYWHERE, including @remapradio.bsky.social

Okay so they didn’t read a passage from Aftertaste or anything but THIS STILL COUNTS

(Game discussed is Hopshot, and absolute nightmare game I fully recommend)

A game that Patrick and Janet eventually turned on, Consume Me, became one of Chia’s favorite games. But a game that Patrick and Janet were moved by, And Roger, completely put off Danika because of its religious messaging. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYhg...

Patrick is out. Which means it’s time for that rowdy Oberhof squad to take to the track in Motorsport Manager! What can’t a Gregorian Chant EDM artist, a bucket of friend chicken, and a loathsome chief mechanic accomplish? twitch.tv/remapradio || www.youtube.com/live/vEUN9Ba...

Not everyone enjoys playing video games the same way. What if you want to skip a level? What if you want to turn down the difficulty? For Janet and Danika, two of their favorite games from 2025 were Lumines Arise and Windswept—games that met them where they were. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUla...

As Rob so accurately points out, what is Battlefield 6 if not a deep meditation on faith, meaning, and learning to trust in a greater community, aka the squad?
