"The cruelty is the point." We say it often.
But damn. I guess it really is.
No parent should ever be denied the chance to bury their child. This is not enforcement. It is cruelty. I will continue to use my voice and oversight authority to demand accountability and a system rooted in basic humanity.

There's the thing: it's not the elections. It's the acceptance of the results. Georgia is an excuse to hurt Raffensberger, but it also gives a pretext to saying they get to pick and choose what elections are valid.

Exactly what Trump's doing with the Bombadier and Gulfstream approval schtick.
A lot of folks seem to not understand how federal elections work. They are run by states and localities, and federal elections are on the same ballots as state elections.

Think through how hard it would be to “steal” an entire set of midterms.

You really have to ask yourself at this stage, knowing that this has entered world history level criminality; how full is that corner of hell, the one that holds men who can do this?
MINNESOTA — Mom goes outside to warm up her car, ICE grabs her: "Please, my car kids are all alone in the house!”

So nothing has changed and Homan was just to put a new face on the cruelty, got it

Poor America. We're in our "man in a hole" phase, if you're following Kurt Vonnegut's classic archetypes. The good news is eventually, it'll turn around. Kurt said.

I don't know if many of these damn politicians are going to survive November with all us actually paying attention.

Does Pete Hegseth have just the one ill-fitting suit? He's expecting a bouncing baby bottle of bourbon from the way that button is having to dig in.

Look, he's just there for the bribes. Otherwise Presidenting is sooo dull.

Went to visit the Alex Pretti memorial-lots of people coming through, and then to the bookstore owned by the man who disappeared into the tear gas at the ICE crackdown afterward. Replaced our old copies of the original Dune (falling apart), and @scalzi.com John Scalzi's The Ghost Brigades.

Tricia McLaughlin, NAZI SHILL, would have you believe that a judge who clerked for Antonin Scalia, held vigil over his casket and mentored Amy Coney Barrett...is an "activist."
Also, what the hell with her eyebrows.

So back in June Alex Padilla was tackled and detained by ICE for trying to ask a question at a press conference. The story from the administration was he attacked her.
Fast forward 7 months, Maxwell Frost attacked, Ilhan Omar attacked. Not a peep from the media about "turning down the rhetoric". 🙄

Because between that and the voter rolls extortion that’s pretty clearly what this is: “We will make your state an unlivable occupied hellscape until you do things we cannot legally or constitutionally make you do directly.”

BREAKING: As Trump transformed an immigration database into a tool to scrutinize voter rolls, newly unearthed comments show a prominent election denial activist was already claiming inside access to the effort — and touting a potential partnership with the Department of Homeland Security.
Leading election denier claimed DHS ‘wants to partner with us’ on voter roll checks. Now he’s a top official there
Comments from Phillips at the time suggest True the Vote, which has repeatedly pushed for access to federal data, also was working with DHS officials.

This is the ICE agent who shot Alex Pretti taken earlier in the day while he and his goons arrest two minors. His hand goes to his gun reflexively, in non escalated circumstances. He is primed to kill.

These are the vicious criminal predators unleashed on Minnesota by the Nazi government.

Stealing from their victims- it's what Nazis do. They always have and they always will.
Fascism is redistribution of wealth.
From the individual and from the society as a whole.

WHERE IS RODNEY TAYLOR
ICE has been holding a disabled Black man for a year!

Rodney Taylor is a double amputee who was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE took him.

He’s been denied his prosthetics & placed in solitary.

His health is declining.

Public outrage might save his life.
