The concerns about water usage of AI datacenters has seemed a tad overblown to me but there’s no denying how much of a strain they put on the power grid.

There’s now a risk of rolling blackouts over the summer and some are asking that new data centers are built with in-house power generation.

The increasingly common habit of screenshotting the AI summary of a Google search and presenting it as evidence must be nipped in the bud immediately. That is nothing. That is not anything, it is not a thing.

The reason why companies in industries like AI and online gambling don’t want any state regulation is because they know the current Congress & President want no regulation of them. They claim having different sets of rules is burdensome, but what they really want is no rules.

Another post of mine where I continue to argue that this is the biggest political issue that few are talking about nearly enough. We know Republicans are in the tank for the tech oligarchs on this, and this is an issue that infuriates many voters in key areas.

Yeesh I hate being repetitive, and yet...

It's time once again to remind my fellow Americans that there is no mechanism whereby state run elections can be suspended or canceled by the federal government. None. So don't go along with any garbage you hear to that effect. Laugh, and get ready to vote.
