Happy New Year!
I'm designing a squid enemy character inspired by Spider-Man, Mario, and Deadpool?
I asked my son which design looked better, and he definitely preferred the one with tentacle knives!
I'm thinking it can jump and throw knives (or Maybe Kunais are better) #angrysquid #squid

I need to quickly reach the goal while testing my new confetti effect! 🎉🎊

Dragging the player to the goal works very well.

Check out the code example for the confetti mix in the thread (made with #Phaser). Feel free to use it!

My first attempt at creating molten LAVA 🌋🔥 in #Phaser.
It's giving more jelly vibes than lava, but we're getting there.

Added a few fun weapons such as a spatula, battle axe, and a stick. A cat and (not Mickey) mouse also join the party. I think Steamboat Willie can be used by everyone now.

We can now select weapons and skins with a live preview.
Loving how it turned out 💀 ⚔️

Need to add more stuff to the arsenal.
What equipment would you like to see added?

Using trigonometry to correctly position my buttons on the line.

Pen and paper really help with the thought process.

This turned out way cooler than I expected. I'm really happy with how the bombs are exploding limbs - yeeet! It's a solid start, but I'm not done yet. Need to make it even more impactful.

Working on a furious bomb for my game. Get hit and lose a limb😶

He looks both angry and sad about it. #GameDev

(Sidenote: I wonder if I should stop posting on former Twitter and go all-in here. I find myself posting both places now)

Winter Adventure for Puckit is wrapped up, and I'm back tinkering with Fruit'n'Roll. (Please help me come up with a good name 🧐🔍).

We've got sharp, stinky feet🦶slicing through juicy watermelons🍉. I'm thinking we need some watermelon seeds flying too.

I made a ~3min timelapse of how I create new skins for my game, check it out: youtube.com/watch?v=n_SM...

I'm drawing in #affinitydesigner , animating and setting up the skin in #spine2d , and finally add it to my #phaser game.
This cute penguin 🐧 took 15 minutes from start to finish.

⛄Snowman and Santa are coming to Puckit!'s Winter adventure.
🎅Santa looks a bit angry. Maybe because his reindeers went rouge?

I plan two more skins, any suggestions? Thinking about an elf or a ginger man (the cookie🍪)

Is this wall jump natural? 🤔
Usually, wall jumps go in the opposite direction, but this one goes straight up. What do you think?

Working on a "Level Complete" Scene.
Still brainstorming color schemes and what kind of buttons to add. The buttons should probably be larger too. Any suggestions?

Added some more juice to the game. The coconuts spill Piña Coladas on the platforms 🍹🌴
The "dead coconut" graphic got a 3D makeover, and added a subtle time freeze on hit. The blades also leave extra trails on impact. Too much or not enough?
