No, using AI generated stuff as a "placeholder" on your crowdfunding campaign is not OK either.

If the visuals are THAT important to getting your project funded, then you need to pay a person up front for those key visuals and deliver a consistent end product to your backers.

Drawing of my OC Chris, now with unnatural features such as darkened eyes with grey pupils, a large wicked grin, her arms turned black with veins appearing just above her elbows, and a long black tail with a diamond-shaped grey tip. Her appearance and demeanour are more reminiscent of Cifern, now hunched over slightly and letting her arms simply hang low while fidgeting with her fingers and her legs being bent as if she’s shambling along. Her eyes are glaring right at you, she is watching. Ditto, but with the “sleeves” removed from her arms m to give a clearer idea of how her fingers are positioned.
