An incredible achievement by Honnold. I purposefully avoided this disturbing event and after seeing some clips of it now, I come away thinking that Jimmy Chin really deserved that Oscar for Free Solo.

Alex Honnold will am Samstag, den 23. Januar den Wolkenkratzer Taipei 101 in Taiwan free-solo'en. Das heißt: Der Ausnahmeathlet will ohne Seile und ohne Hilfsmittel bis nach oben klettern - nur mit seiner eigenen Kraft und einem Chalkbag. Vor ihm hat das so noch keiner geschafft bzw. sich getraut. Aus gutem Grund, denn nur ein einziger Fehler bedeutet hier den Tod.

I think so much time has passed since actually writing these stories while his writing skill might have regressed a bit with age and TWOW woes that he sees them now from a fan perspective, which is an interesting and hilarious development.

I quite enjoyed #AKnightoftheSevenKingdoms! My favorite way to describe it is that it felt like a real-life depiction of Hyrule in Ocarina of Time. Lovely bit of music over the credits too. I’m going to fall for this very quickly.

My crackpot theory is that this Bond villain shit is just theater for finally bombing Iran. This is why he also called off the jets last week, so that he had a chance to be handed that medal "in peace times."

Das ist ein so unglaublicher Massenmord und er fliegt so sehr unter dem Radar der Öffentlichkeit durch.
Treue Follower wird kaum überraschen, dass mich der Return von #ForAllMankind umtreibt. Aber das ist nicht alles! Es gibt zum Beispiel noch das For All Mankind Spin-off #StarCity! 😅

Passend zu den Filmhighlights möchte ich auch wieder auf das vorliegende Serienjahr blicken und habe mit großer Enttäuschung festgestellt, dass mich bis auf so ein paar Rückkehrer in teilweise schon echt fortgeschrittenen Staffeln kaum etwas wirklich begeistern kann.…

Passend zu den Filmhighlights möchte ich auch wieder auf das vorliegende Serienjahr blicken und habe mit großer Enttäuschung festgestellt, dass mich bis auf so ein paar Rückkehrer in teilweise schon echt fortgeschrittenen Staffeln kaum etwas wirklich begeistern kann. Dazu gibt es bisher auch keine wirklichen Highlights an originellen Serien. Wie auch im Film geht im TV der Trend hin zu Sequels, Spin-offs und Revivals.
