I think Half-Life 3 is 100% happening because you don't take in the Campo Santo folks just to let them work on just one game in close to a decade, especially after excelling at Alyx. It's happening.

I admire Lynne Ramsey's Die My Love more than I like it. Mostly for its gorgeous photography and camera work but it was pain to watch, fully grating in the second half and often leaning into embarrassment. Not good, but some stuff to take away for sure, which comes as no surprise.

Alex G is far from my favorite artist yet I would love to see him live once. But his fans are horrible and they, thinking they're all in on some hilarious joke, completely destroy his performance. It wasn't even social media that ruined concert going. Something shifted after Covid.

Annie Jacobsen's Nuclear War was my favorite book last year, this stuff is 100% my jam, so naturally I thoroughly enjoyed Bigelow's A House of Dynamite too—up until that unbelievable cop-out. Leaves a really bad taste in my mouth, the kind that completely burns you on a filmmaker.
