It's really hard to convey the scale of this #kannon statue in #sendai. It's 100 meters tall and the entire body is a 12-storey display of 108 carved #buddha statutes!

Theravāda Buddhism Nuns are out there, no matter you like it or not, correctly or incorrectly ordained, they are there & they are worthy of honour & offerings for the work they do.

Buddhist Monks & Nuns are Monks & Nuns, no matter, correctly ordained or incorrectly;
Every holy mendicant is worthy to honour & offerings, according to their own intentions, words, thoughts & works.

p.s. You don't get any kamma about "invalid ordination", only for Evil intended thought, word, action there is a bad Karma, not for a ritual incorrectly performed, right?!

There are currently several ordinations traditions for men as well;
There are Theravāda, Thay & Birman traditions, there are Tibetan, Japanesse & Chinesse Canon ordination systems;
Some Tibetan Monks may have families, others can not.
Buddha created a method that can be easily adapted to place &time

In Tibetan Buddhism there is a huge Topic - one is not permitted to do Mantra japa without an "initiation" from Lama, but still - it is better to recite Mantra without any initiation, because it is the Enlightenment that matters.
Buddha Shakyamuni had no initiations, no monk orders, he attained it.

Alas, not a progressive commercial.

Only sexual relationship for pro-creation by duty in a marriage can have a Moral Foundation.
Remember - in Buddhism every action should have a moral foundation, and there is none for lgbtq+ and also hetero sex for enjoyments - those all are human weakness, sins,attracts affective states, avoid them

The one who owns things & properties have worries about things & properties.
The more one owns, the more he/she should care & worry for things.
Buddhism believes each bad thought, word, action leaves a tiny imprint in consciousness, it forms a bad habbit & inclination.
One should work for Liberation

Now I understand: minimalism is the only lifestyle that truly aligns with Buddhism. Less is the way. Less is peaceful. Less is serene.

And so I begin again.

I won’t hoard thoughts.

I won’t hoard breaths.

I won’t hoard more than I need for the moment.

2) I think Christianity is hard choice for good people,
why would they need a religion, if they are good, righteous people?!
And where have you seen the Evil one joining religion voluntarily?!
Attaining Perfection & better World is a better motivation.

If there is no difference, all Christians should convert to Buddhism :)
I respect all religions as far they are Paths to Perfection & Holy Life.
But there are reasons why Christianity was not my choice religion.
I was a good & honest person and had no sins to confess, but a Perfection to attain.

Idol worship is worshipping Money, Sex, Power, Politics, Fame.
In Tibetan Buddhism there is a veneration of Buddha aspects & icons to overcome suffering.
In Hinduism there are similarly Devas / God's manifestations & Icons to overcome suffering.

Religion is a Path to a Holy Life, Perfection, or at least an Improvement, would you deny Perfection.
Some Path is understandable and suited for some people, other religion for other (1)
