I’ve been going on hour three of bashing my skull against the Sparrow boss fight in Heatwave, and the sleep deprivation is catching up to me enough that I started imagining the character portraits were in a grotesque live 2D mixel style that constantly moved like a gacha PNG

Heatwave's last major update, will be available on NOVEMBER 12!!! It will also be releasing on steam then as well. Most notably, it will contain a ~100k word visual novel story mode, and 4 new "secret" characters, along with balance changes, and bug fixes. ❤️

Skill revisions in basara 4 Sumeragi can really make or break a character. Motochika feels so much worse without the extra couple air tools. Very curious how I’ll feel about the sb3 versions of Oichi and Yoshitsugu.

As a longtime SB4 Sumeragi fan, I decided to finally go and play SB3 for the first time to get the English experience and those first missions where you only have 3 attacks and no damage are rough.

I’m not gonna disagree, I’ve seen the sb3 intro. But also makes me giggle that the franchise where you can fight a mecha boat on a bigger mecha boat by transforming into a mecha boat could be TLoU or some shit

So the executive order today that not only criminalizes but institutionalizes mental health disabilities is not only super Nazish- but also can be used to easily set up legal pretense to label folks like trans people as “mentally ill” so they can round us up into prisons or camps.

Read Clamp’s Tokyo Babylon and X in 3 days so that I could watch the madhouse X anime, so I could play what is effectively psychic force 3 with cool qol features, throws, and some fantastic psx graphics. Best decision ever for my autism. It’s like if Senko and Daemon Bride had a yaoi baby

Also anyone who criticizes Jessie Gender for not doing enough or being complicit is just a bitter loser with no whimsy in my book. There are so many people doing actual harm so if you really care to harass people into doing better dont do it to someone so kind, patient, creative, and thoughtful.

I’m afraid people care hold leftwing online entertainers to a way too high standard of being correct about everything. The people are entertainers first not educators/activists. Your time is better spent talking to people you know than publicly harassing strangers over their ethical failings.

We often conflate online discourse with leftism movements/action as a whole. Online left discourse - especially on corporate owned platforms - can be toxic, purity based & fractious. It’s why I highly encourage using online for education but push for IRL organizing and coalition building.
