Anyone remember Comet Hale-Bopp in the late 90s? It is quietly in the backdrop of my latest horror novel, Bloodstains by Gaslight.

I get irritated when astronomical events are sensationized with fake photos. THIS is the "smiley face" that will be in the sky on the 25th, created by the moon, Venus, & Saturn. Still cute, but it's not like the in the images being shared widely.
