iOS 18 lets us animate UIKit views using SwiftUI animations, which can simplify our code and help create a more consistent experience in projects using both frameworks.

Part of the reason it’s more pleasant here is that people on Bluesky have generally been on the Internet before.

With generative AI on the horizon there has never been a better time to learn the fundamentals. The amount of garbage that is about to be generated, checked in, and deployed is going to increase the value of those that actually understand how things work.
