Finished this novel yesterday and can’t stop thinking about it. More Than You Know by Beth Gutcheon. It’s a paranormal historical fiction. Anyone else read and enjoy this one? #booksky

If you’re 25 chapters into a book ‘hanging on until it gets better’ is some silly dork advice. Nah, my darling, it’s just not for you. Set it aside and read what you enjoy. Dragging yourself through a book you don’t vibe with is silliness. Time for reading isn’t always plentiful! Read what you love!

Of all the things that happened at #sakuracon this weekend, most of them were not the fault of convention leadership. The biggest lapse? Lack of communication to ticket holders and artists. It was awful, and there’s no excuse for that in this day and age.

Have been in the registration line of #sakuracon for an hour and a half, and have at least two more hours to wait. What’s going on? It’s giving Boston ‘08.

Good afternoon #booksky ! I’ve got some free time today so I thought I would do a “try a chapter” challenge on some of my older fantasy titles. If the first chapter doesn’t interest me, out they go. Any good ones here?

The administration CANNOT withhold funds from hospitals providing trans youth care.

Very proud to announce the Department of Health will now process all requests to change gender designation on birth certificates within three business days. Previously, there was as much as a 10 month wait.

I hate to break to Trump but Two-Spirit (trans) people have existed here in North America for thousands of years. They predate the arrival of white people and their “Christianity.” Trans people will be here long after Trump is dead and gone.

People say “momma didn’t raise no quitter” as if it’s some badge of honor- when in reality, it’s healthy to know your limits, self worth, and value how your time is used. Quitting is healthy, be it a book, a relationship or a bad habit.
