🌧 Current @nws.noaa.gov forecasts indicate a storm system moving in Sunday (2/15) that could bring rain & wind throughout much of the week, including possible thunderstorms.

⚠ Any wildfire burn scar areas from the last 5 years have increased risks of rock slides, mud slides, & debris flows.

If you must drive anywhere, give yourself extra time, slow down, allow more space to slow or stop, watch out for roadway flooding & debris.

⚠ Burn areas from wildfires in recent years remain highly susceptible to mud & debris flows.

Residents in these areas are urged to stay vigilant, monitor official weather updates, & avoid unnecessary travel during storms-especially if they have been advised of mudflow risks in their neighborhoods.🧵
