On 1/13, family & colleagues celebrated #LACoFD FFs graduating from the Paramedic Training Institute as part of Class 271.

This morning, the #LACoFD joined residents at the Altadena Forever Run. This inaugural run stands as a powerful reminder of the resilience of Altadena. Together, we stand alongside our community in remembrance of the 19 lives lost & continue to move forward w/strength & determination in rebuilding.

🛑 As a reminder, conditions during & after storms can lead to road closures, especially in mountain & canyon areas. If you need to drive, please check your route & drive carefully. We want you to arrive safely.

If you must drive anywhere, give yourself extra time, slow down, allow more space to slow or stop, watch out for roadway flooding & debris.

Amazing work by our #LACoFD personnel last night. Our members rescued over 100 people - one copter hoisted 21 people from cars, and one engine pulled 20 people from vehicles, two deputies and a dog.

The #LACoFD is conducting a prescribed burn at Pitchfork Ranch in Leona Valley today (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.).

This prescribed burn is part of ongoing efforts to improve ecosystem health, reduce wildfire risk, and improve public safety through proactive vegetation management.
