ATP projects fail for lack of Councilmember support either by passive or active opposition. Returning millions in grant funds is a failure of leadership and an act of violence against the most vulnerable.
The City of LA is about to give back millions of dollars of previously won money for active transportation projects because it can’t build things in any reasonable amount of time.

Our home is now gas free! We chipped away at it over several years. Each electric appliance has been an improvement over the gas one it replaced. Plus: lower utility bills, improved in-door air quality, no more gas leaks, and no more pollution vented into our community.

We did it! With just 72-hour notice, neighbors came together to build a floating sign out of deer fencing and U-Haul tarps, and then turned out for a pop-up protest to protect our community from toxic acid work.
