Glad to hear Mayor Zohran Mamdani is considering a baby box scheme in New York.

The Scottish Government has sent over a Baby Box to share our experience and hopefully offer some inspiration.

Since we launched it in 2017, I’m proud it’s giving every child the best start in life. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Please never try a Scottish accent again Jack O'Connell. Please.

Worth saying that we went to watch the latest 28 Days movie, and one guy’s Scottish accent was so bad I nearly had a panic attack. Unnecessary and beyond awful, 3/10 for the whole film cos of that.
Just leaving the cinema and what on gods green and white earth have I missed?

A bunch of old rich unelected peers blocking democracy so their offspring can’t get their inheritances too early.
EXC - MPs and peers who backed the assisted dying bill now believe it is “near impossible” for it to pass the House of Lords in time because of procedural obstacles used by opponents.

“It is our system at its absolute most dysfunctional,” one MP said.

This is excellent.

"The President is a writhing mass of impulses and political urges.... On Greenland, sage commentators talk of Arctic security, of critical minerals. It is all nonsense. Trump wants it because Trump wants it, and he sees no good reason why he should not have it."

The US going batshit mental and the entire global norms and order falling apart are surely reason to bring an EU referendum back into the public discourse. Starmer needs to piss or get off the pot.

ICE has kidnapped so many people from their cars that the city had to put out this statement. Let that sink in.
Vehicles that are abandoned due to an ICE detention and towed to the City's impound lot will be released to their owners or a representative at no cost.

Countries who buy Venezuelan oil face additional 25% tariffs on goods exported to the US. If that’s disbanded now Chinese exporters and US consumers would get a big benefit. Makes you think.

If it’d have been Maloney after BR we’d have been up in arms about the cheap option. Now it’s the cheap option plus a few million for Nancy’s 3 year contract, his staff etc. That, plus we’ll be delighted to have Maloney.
