The climate impact of a #hydrogen economy: We welcome contributions to our session at the #EGU25 in Vienna & online. We aim for a better understanding of a hydrogen budget and impacts of hydrogen use.
Deadline for abstracts: 15 January 2025 meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU25/sessio...

But keep in mind that ERF for the IMO2020 shipping cap has large uncertainties (as for aerosol ERF in general) related specifically to cloud adjustments, emission uncertainties and uncertainties in the sulfur cycle.

The reduction in anthropogenic sulfur emissions over the last decades overwhelms the 1-year drop in shipping emissions in 2020, including over the oceanic regions.

The calculated ERF is similar to the increase in CO2 ERF from 2019 to 2022.

Our contribution to the literature on the climate effect of the 2020 sulfur emission regulations from shipping published today acp.copernicus.org/articles/24/...
