MASSIVE protest marching through Manhattan right now against the ICE arrest of Mahmoud Khalil.

Endless stream of people chanting “No cops, no KKK, no fascist USA.” Easily a thousand people. Zero NYPD presence.

has Russia subverted Reagan and the US? the unfettered free market/ war on the working class has lead to undue Russian influence, some would say outright control, of the executive branch (with complete fealty from the other branches) of the US government.

Dan McKee appears to absolutely hate doing his job and resent anyone who suggests that he do it
Capitol Police, on orders from R.I. Governor Daniel McKee, have blocked the public’s access to the rotunda. Most likely, the People’s State of the State will be in the Bell Room. Dozens of State and Capitol Police on hand.

I don't care about football, but I'm kind of horrified that they're working with absolute fundamentalist ghouls. I have given up on the NBA due to the silence on the Palestinian genocide and cozy up the fossil fuel States.

One thing I haven't seen addressed as far as the horrible results of the election is that this is a natural consequence of gutting the US educational and welfare support system. it's rendered people incapable of critical thinking and voting in their own interests. idk that seems like a big cause.

this is a really compelling analysis of election results from the Guardian. My takeaway is that we need to be building more solidarity to create the society we need. Great to see someone use the data to highlight that. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

my coworker is sitting at his desk crying, "i have to believe americans are just too stupid because i cannot accept they are this evil" and i'm like oh buddy, we are a nation born in genocide and slavery that spent the last year profiting off the arming and minimizing of a genocide.
