I've always loved Jenny Holzer's work, but I've developed a new appreciation for it because of trauma therapy.

Some of her truisms are like the stuck points we carry as survivors, some are incisive social commentary. The truism is only found via discernment and deconstruction.

Anything the Epstein Committee, Dems, and survivors have should come out like a fucking avalanche right now.

Bury them in their filth. Full on heart attack mode.

Very much looking forward to reading this!
So excited this Bloomsbury anthology now on preorder! It includes my essay "Theory of whose mind? A very late-diagnosed autistic writer claps back" excerpted from my memoir in progress. Never been so happy to be a member of a group before. Editors did brilliant job.

If you're just over everything and you haven't paid any attention to it, marveling at how rare 3I Atlas's entry into our solar system is is a nice distraction. It will be at closest approach to Earth on the 19th. NASA might be shitting the bed on this but other astronomers are keeping watch.

But let's definitely make college entrance contingent upon knowledge of AI.
Grading and googling hallucinated citations, as one does nowadays, and now that LLMs have been around for a while, I've discovered new horrors: hallucinated journals are now appearing in Google Scholar with dozens of citations bc so many people are citing these fake things

All of this. 💥
How about we stop fighting ablism with MORE ableism? It's not that hard! Your jokes about ASL interpreters not being able to interpret Trump ARE ableist. You are behaving no better than Trump in that regard. And I certainly wouldn't want you on my side.

Every one of these fuckers dissuading the public and parents from lifesaving vaccinations is probably vaccinated. It would be interesting for press to start asking about actual personal vaccination records.

They can't even provide accessible fonts on government documents.

It's "wasteful" to make a different font choice that meets the needs of the greatest number of constituents. That's what they think of disabled Americans.
Marco Rubio ordered diplomats to return to using Times New Roman font in official communications, calling his predecessor's decision to adopt Calibri a “wasteful” diversity move

The secretary of state called it a "wasteful" diversity move, according to an internal department cable seen by Reuters.

This escaped my attention - it might interest you and any journalists you know.
There's a media blackout on the FBI's new enemies list and cash fund for snitching on people harboring things like "anti-Americanism."

What little coverage its gotten has been laughably bad:

Ffs. This horseshit is likely to impact kids and adults with conditions and diseases like EOE, MCAS, and gastroparesis, among many others. We need formula. But we're expendable. If we can't survive on breast milk, raw milk, beef tallow, and unprocessed food, we should die. Real nice people.
