Structurally speaking, I feel like Digimon Frontier has more in common with magical girl anime than anything else.

2026 Anniversary art for Cyberchase 💔 Nostalgia is a hell of a thing

#Digimon Frontier definitely activated something in my 8-9 year old brain, but wow... rewatching it kinda hurts a little, because everything about Izumi/Zoey make me pretty sad (all the loses and weird stuff in the uncut/subs) and angry (the flashback with those racist girls making her crash out).

Honestly? Observe a lot. This is the most stupid advice I can give, because who am I to give one, but yeah: understand what things are like before drawing them. Trace them and try understanding their physical logics and then draw them again on your own.
