For continuity Darnold would have been the pick. McCarthy has to prove that he gets better for the rest of this year and next. He must show progress. It’s hard to completely blame a guy with 5 games of experience.

I’m afraid that it’s time to admit that the Vikings QB of the next decade is playing in Seattle. JJ is playing the worst of any QB under O’Connell in the last 4 years.

It’s not that he continues to lie from about everything, but that his base believes it even when the lie turns on itself.
He said the tariffs don’t negatively affect food prices. He said that they were making the American people money. Yet only the rich get tax breaks.

I see signs in the Vikings, but right now the QB and mistakes are holding them back. JJ makes some nice throws, but the ones that he’s missing hurt as well. Too many mistakes to overcome today, not all JJ’s fault.
