People sometimes ask why I don't sleep in the storage unit where I keep clothes (which enables me to stay cleaner and look less homeless). Besides breach of contract, trespass, and cameras, these shared rolling stairs of death I need to get up and down from it don't help.
Someone DMed to ask how they could send a few $$ and suggested I set up a ko-fi. Those who've known me for years know the only donation requests I post are for others struggling.

Two surgeries back to back tomorrow. One for better quality of life, and the other for life with which to appreciate better life quality. After that a period of recovery for some days, followed by relocation to a far off place in hope of greater quality in other life matters as well.

Pretty sure my body's a car. Every time I take it in for a quick oil change, I leave with a long list of needed repairs. Now I'm knocking them out one by one.
Had a stent placed in my heart. Not sure if I survived or died and went to Hell. How is one supposed to tell the difference? 🤔

Operation successful, probably. I'm about 50 grams lighter now without my gallbladder. I do not recommend including this approach in your own slimming plan.

Sitting at the town square. An unhoused senior, a Chinese immigrant who came here many years ago and worked hard raising a family, stands near the fountain doing Tai Chi alone as the sun sets. She does the same forms every day and I almost have them memorized. Soon I'll ask to join her.

Console/video game box collecting-type folks: what would be the proper way to clean this box that sat undisturbed for ~19 years? These photos are after I shot it off with compressed air. I cleaned the corner with a barely wet paper towel, but it’s cardboard so I imagine getting it wet is bad. Thanks
