When they localized Super League and it became Tommy Lasorda Baseball, I can understand localizing teams and leagues, voices, etc. But why the news reporter at the end of each game?

the problem with modern videogame rpgs is they don't have quests like the one in phantasy star, where you need to bribe a governor with cake, but the only cake shop in the entire solar system is on a different planet, at the bottom of a four-floor dungeon, behind a locked door.

Since it is apparently an emergency laundry day yet again, I think once I get that going I'm just going to play skyrim for like seven hours

Taught my friend how to use a chainsaw and also a rope storage… braid? Idk, my dad taught it to me, so I showed her. Today was far better than yesterday.

I’m glad a guy is having a great outing but I don’t get marveling at 100+ pitches in a game. It’s an exception to what is now the rule in an era where a complete game is a rarity, but it wasn’t always that way.

Woke up and thought of how my grandmother liked am/pm hot dogs and hamburgers but couldn't get out much, so I'd run some over occasionally and this was breakfast with her. Made me go, "man, am/pm hamburgers sound good" and so I went and got some. I think the memory is better than the actual food...

12 years ago yesterday, I went to see Tom Waits at the Bridge School Benefit. 12 years ago right now, I was in the San Jose train station sitting with homeless dudes as we all tried to get a little sleep. Great show. I was sick for a couple weeks after, but totally worth it.

Surely he can’t eat all of that, and even if he can, surely he can’t pass all of it. I want to see X-rays like when they took the potato and jelly jar out of that one guy’s but, but with this guy it’s a basketball made out of some really rough looking arby’s

Woke up earlier than I wanted, but: ivy is completely gone from the fence, boards to took out of the garage rafters are cut up and disposed of, laundry is done, started the bike and let it run awhile, took the impala around the neighborhood for a little bit, and it isn’t even noon yet. 👍

25 years since the PS2 launch? I spent 14 hours (10a-midnight) in mall food court to get one I'd prepaid for. My dad waited from 6p-midnight but showed up around noon and paid a guy $10/hr to wait in line until he got back. We got both. He got home and immediately went, "it's 1 am" and went to bed.

Tried Xenia Edge (what is different about it from regular Xenia???) and it runs Test Drive Unlimited really well. This is great, great news.
