When they localized Super League and it became Tommy Lasorda Baseball, I can understand localizing teams and leagues, voices, etc. But why the news reporter at the end of each game?

Started to rehab a bathroom by pulling up linoleum and scraping the glue to make sure the subfloor is level. Putty knife slipped and caught me across my wrist, so I think that's enough for one day.

I think I might be coming down with something. So it's a good thing it's raining like hell today, keeping me from doing the things I was going to do outside... because I probably wasn't gonna do them anyway.

A friend's birthday is today and I've known them for ~half their life now. I suppose you could look at it as a thing tied to age and being/getting old, but I like to look at it as being lucky to have had this good person in my life for more than just a brief period.

Found a little journal thing about my grandfather, random memories he had about things like riding the rails when he was 10 (trains, not coke), owning a car at 13, and fun little things about growing up in the 1930s-1940s. I wish I had way more stuff like this, from both my grandparents.

Some people get sidetracked by a phone call or a solicitor. Meanwhile I’m over here getting sidetracked by wondering what the ending of Fatal Labyrinth on the Genesis looks like, so I played through it with cheats. In hindsight I could’ve just looked up a video, but… you know?

That could’ve gone worse. Had a good burrito and it was nice to see people, but the real plus to the day was finding CC Lemon at the Daiso like 10 miles from the house.

Can confirm. Later this morning I'm supposed to meet some people I haven't seen in almost 20 years, looking haggard from being up all night is probably not the cool guy thing to do. But here we are.
