Just saw some pundit commenting on Latino voters' "swing to the left" after the 2024 vote. I figure they're just as conservative as they've always been. They're just concerned now about the Republican Party's heavily armed, masked thugs assaulting & kidnapping them in their homes & on the streets.

How in the world can our democracy survive when voters are so ignorant that they don't know which party controls the government? This whole 250-year experiment in representative government could come crashing down because of the people's raging stupidity.

New poll: Democrats lead the 2026 House generic ballot, and their edge widens when voters are reminded Republicans control Congress
Plus: Voters see both parties as out of touch, but for different reasons; Trump hits new low on pocketbook issues; Large majorities oppose ending ACA subsidies and SNAP, support taxing high earners

Wonder why Trump ever made the Epstein files a campaign issue. He knew he was mentioned all over them. He apparently thought, after MAGA'd been stoking crackpot Epstein theories about Dems, he could quash the whole thing after he was elected. Politically live by conspiracies, die by them, I guess.
November 19, 2025 at 2:21 PM
The MAGA Republican Party's malevolent stupidity has once again come back to bite them. It's likely they won't even win this one in the corrupt SCOTUS. And the thing is if they hadn't been exuberantly racist they could have done it legally:
