Still wild to me that Megyn Kelly woke up yesterday, logged on, and did the "technically he's not a pedophile, he's an ephebophile" bit to the entire internet.

AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

BREAKING: Starbucks workers have launched a massive, nationwide strike.

Baristas in 40 cities have walked off the job on the busiest day of Starbucks' year.

Upwards of 12,000 @sbworkersunited.org members could ultimately go on strike as the union escalates.

Legislation creates a Federal Tax Escrow Account in the state treasury. Instead of employers forwarding collected federal taxes to Washington, they send them to the state. The state holds the money in escrow. A legislative panel reviews federal spending for constitutional compliance.
Experts Say Blue States Can Stop Paying Federal Taxes. There’s Precedent
If we could use nullification for people to get high, why can’t we use it to protect human rights and stop fascism?

Let us be incredibly, abundantly clear:

We are demanding that Chuck Schumer resign for his continued betrayal of the American people.

If he does not willingly step aside, we are calling on the Senators in the Dem caucus to remove him and Dick Durbin from Senate leadership.

Just emailed both of the NV Senators who caved on the shutdown with no ACA subsidies. I let them know that they definitely need to explain themselves, expect a primary challenger and if they win they won’t be getting my vote.

If they can’t fight for us now when it’s most important, resign.

Hey Chuck Schumer, here’s hoping the sensible dems kick you to the curb. @schumer.senate.gov

So sorry to all the people in Red States who didn’t vote for their ACA premiums to sky rocket.

But FUCK AROUND AND FIND out to all the Republicans who are cheering for the government to open up. Hope you get the 2026 insurance you voted for.

Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

This is, unsurprisingly, nonsensical. Is he suggesting eliminating health insurance and giving people a few thousand dollars instead? And then when they get a cancer diagnosis they just go bankrupt?

He is so unserious. That's why we are shut down and Americans know it.

Senate Democrats are offering a path forward: Reopen the government and extend the health care tax credits for 1 year to ensure millions of Americans don’t see their premiums double in January.

The President & Congressional Republicans need to come to the table to negotiate.

Senate Democrats have a common-sense compromise: Let’s extend the ACA enhanced tax credits at the current levels for a year, and start a bipartisan working group to find real, long-term solutions to our country’s health care crisis.

Donald Trump is now going all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court to take SNAP food benefits away from Americans in need.

California won't back down in court from supporting the tens of millions of Americans the Trump Administration seemingly wants to starve.

BREAKING: Senator Schumer just proposed a completely fair deal to open the government. All he asked for is that the Affordable Care Act subsidies be extended for one year.

This is in Trump‘s court now. Democrats are trying to protect our healthcare. Republicans are trying to protect billionaires.
