Anyway, donate to charities if you can. I support quite a few. But really, every charity is just a govt failure, especially in a world where we give the richest 10% $18bn a year in tax breaks for capital gains

Almost all of the bands I've seen in the last two years are ones I first saw more than 10 years ago.

Well and truly into my nostalgia era with live music.
Last night, Jess Cornelius - first discovered in 2008, first saw live (as Teeth & Tongue) at Falls Festival in 2009. Genuinely grateful to have the opportunity to support artists over multiple decades.

Premium: The AI Bubble's promises are impossible. NVIDIA's customers are running out of money, GPUs die in 3-5 years, most 1GW data centers will never get built, and OpenAI's Abilene data center doesn't won't have the power it needs before 2028 - if it ever does.

The AI Bubble's Impossible Promises

The Brownlow is always fun to watch despite the coverage, not because of it.

Well to be fair, this path needs 13 results to go against them, a 1-of-3 and a 2-of-3. Even if they're all 70% likely that's still something like a 99.995% chance that they make it.

Take the ambiguity out of it.
- 5 years without finals = end of 2nd round priority pick
- 10 years without finals = end of 1st

2025:
- End of 2nd = NM, WCE
(Assuming GC plays finals)

No team would tank to miss finals if they've been out for 4+ years.
