Bobby Shantz started - & won - the first game in Colt .45s/Astros history. An entertaining read.
Former Astros pitcher Corbin Martin, now on the Orioles, is best friends with Colton Cowser’s older brother Ty. They all went to Cy Ranch HS, where Colton & Ty’s dad Dale was an assistant principal.
Corbin Martin knew Colton Cowser as the ‘little man hanging around.’ Now they’re Orioles teammates.
