I've been getting more piercings lately and I always go back to the same guy. He recently opened his own studio and puts photos on the wall of his favorite piercings or ones that look awesome. It's been my goal to curate an ear so awesome that I make the wall.

Been under the weather with a cold for the last few days. Spent the time sleeping and reading two different Dramoine fics, so I think thats time well spent.

(Scene) my BIL texted my MIL about getting stocking stuffers FOR HIS WIFE.

MIL: Doesn't he know Christmas is in 4 days?! It's HIS wife. HE can go to the store. Always expecting women to save the day.

Me: I have Korean face masks, nail stickers, and a crocheted octopus.

MIL: sounds great

For once in my life I got my mother birthday presents she loves and enjoys. I may never achieve this high again.

Just finished Serpent and the Wings of Night. Was not expecting the ending. Carissa Broadbent perfectly executed another story and I can't wait to read the sequel. Rhain is a perfect MMC and I do not accept any slander towards him.

There's a dad in Instagram who is doing thee most to get adapted toys into kids hands. He wrote a book on how to adapt toys for pennies instead of hundreds of dollars insurance companies charge. If you have time, check out AdaptedDesign on ig and consider donating to him.

Day nurse's kid might have whooping cough. She's 16. Apparently there are multiple recorded cases at her HS and it makes me want to scream.

The body keeps score. I've had a pretty rotten day between two Squish appointments and being absolutely blindsided at one of them. Miss Squish is having spinal surgery next week and instead of just a neck brace, she'll be in a minerva, which is a forehead down to torso brace. Kind of a big deal.

Parenthood is trying me. This three years old is pushing literally every button. From pooping and peeing on the floor EVERYDAY, even though he proves he can initiate it on his own, to body slamming the dogs, and then knocking over a full bottle of nailpolish- my patience has run dry. I'm exhausted.

Once upon a time, I tried going to Austin City Limits (ACL), but had to cancel due to LTP.

Today I realized I never unsubscribed to the emails because I got the "Offical ACL Map" for this year. Damn the lineup looks good this year.

It's a full moon. The children know and are acting accordingly.

May our patience be strong and coffee be stronger.

In today's episode of "things that aren't toys, but babies love" I present... the lap desk. Miss Squish made her way across her part of the living room to play with her favorite toy. She'll straight up worm her way under it when you're using it. She loves this thing. Anything for you, sweet girl.

Doing backwards planning to figure out how time I have between Dr appt and driving 45 minutes to a ceremony means I have to wear my nice adult clothes. Came out to the living room in a dress with hair and make up done and Matt was *very* confused as to why I look like a real adult not a trash panda.

Ah yes, we're getting to the phase of exhaustion where you start feeling nauseous and dizzy. Just have to make it to the start of the next meal/feed.
