After attending launch of @greenteamedin.bsky.social strategy yesterday, I was struck by finding in our @ipsosinscotland.bsky.social climate survey, out yesterday, that young people were more likely to say they felt ‘powerless’, ‘angry’, ‘afraid’, 'guilty' or 'indifferent' about climate change (1/2)

New @ipsosintheuk.bsky.social polling on attitudes to promoting DEI in UK workplaces. Key takeaway for me is that when you ask about individual DEI initiatives, more support than oppose, but asking about 'DEI' in general gets a more divided response.
36% of Britons believe initiatives to promote DEI in workplaces in the UK have gone to far. 19% say they haven't gone far enough and 31% say they are about right.

There is a clear gender divide. Men are much more likely than women to say these initatives have gone 'too far'.

In line with the rest of GB, top concerns for Scots last year were the economy & the NHS. However, significantly fewer Scots saw immigration as an important issue than GB as a whole (23% vs 29%), and they were a little more likely to mention poverty/inequality (17% vs 13% in GB).
