This is such good advice. I've been making my comic since 2020, posting about it since 2016, and posting art long before that. My audience is still very small. If you see a comic blow up immediately, it's because the creator was already successful elsewhere. Comics are hard and patience is key.
One thing I noticed with newer webcomics is that creators tend to get discouraged when many readers don't seem to be around early on. This can be made worse with a slower update rate, & NO I'm not suggesting you speed up, but you'll need even more patience.
