Guess my sleep schedule is gonna HAVE to remain out of whack until the fucking upstairs neighbors move which could be any time between tomorrow and Wednesday and I still have to hope they're Leaving leaving and not just moving to the empty place next door

It's not the *intelligent* choice, it's the *desperate* choice. If I had a kid who fell in love with a chatbot I wouldn't feel shame, I'd feel deep concern. That's a fucking mental health crisis, not a relationship. We should be treating it as something to help loved ones through, not encourage.

Got a text earlier that cut off at "the federal government has ended" and immediately thought "thank fuck" before processing that of course that wasn't the whole text and without considering what kind of mess that would cause (because it's already such a mess anyway)

Kinda noticed it when I place a pin somewhere that's higher or lower than me, but plza seems to ignore the y axis in terms of distance wrt whether you hear the sparkle. I was objectively further away from the weedle in the tree from the roof than I was the garbador from the outer ring of zone 20

People talking about shinies having objective value will never stop being funny and a little sad to me. More people finding shinies making them less valuable? Shinies being in a specific ball making them more valuable bc the ball is rarer? Different colored pixels on a screen. Value is subjective.

An actual pause button, like LucasArts adventure games had. Hit the button and you pause the game anywhere, in the middle of a cutscene, line of dialogue, anything. Hit it again and the game resumes. Not a "skip cutscene and open menu" button, a pause button. People have animals, kids and partners
