Fixed a big perf issue in #ERROR_PROTOCOL today by switching @godotengine.org’s physics engine to #joltphysics. There seems to be some problem with continuous collisions but I think that’s fixable by tweaking some of the Jolt options.

A simple enemy steering behaviour has the enemies homing towards the player given some target radius.

Progress is mainly refractoring junk code, moving stuff around to sensible locations and my favourite, deleting stuff :-)

The idea rattling round in my head is Robotron meets Ancipital.

And I've been fighting Godot since the beginning, trying to remain out of the editor and in Visual Studio as much as possible...
