From my perspective nearly everyone in America is appalled by this action against Venezuela... except my Trump koolaid-drinking aunt. And thinking about that I realized, I'm not in conservative circles so I won't get an understanding of how they react to current events.

He's literally on Fox talking about doing the same thing to Mexico.
Trump on Sheinbaum: "The cartels are running Mexico. She's not running Mexico. We could be politically correct & nice and say, 'Oh, yes, she is.' No no. And I've asked her number times, 'Would you like us to take out the cartels?' ... something is gonna have to be done with Mexico."

This is horrifying. Venezuela didn't attack us, and they were no threat to us. That Trump and his inner circle can decide to steal another nation's sovereignty on their own. They should have been removed and prosecuted for firing on international boats without provocation, now they escalate to this.
That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.
Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?

Growing up my only apples were red or golden delicious, so now I decide to try Cosmic Crisp and Fuji apples and they're great, but they just don't feel like real apples. They feel like some kind of apple product.

House is pretty good with its EKGs but in S1E8 they introduce these defibrillator pads which pace the patient's heart after he flatlines. This would be amazing technology if it existed, but pacemakers need to be implanted so they can introduce a very small shock in a precise position at the heart.

On my free Peacock subscription I watched Brilliant Minds and then I started watching the first season of House and WOW they really just lifted that entire show and thought nobody would notice.
