In Project Psyren, /AT LEAST/ 20% of the worldbuilding, narrative, and lore is deliberately designed to subvert traditional fantasy tropes.

You’ll still find swords, dragons, and ancient ruins... but rarely in the form you're used to.

I think the best lesson I've learned about game design since starting to work on TTRPGs is that design elements should be considered as tools to influence player behavior toward doing things that we consider 'fun' rather than considered in isolation

As a small indie with only three (at current) people trying to make a #TTRPG in our spare time with little to no funding...

I am really tired of #D&D #DunegeonsAndDragons being THE /Big Thing/ with all of the focus.

The space is SOO much bigger than D&D.
