The UK is going to have to make a choice.

Do we stand with Ukraine and Europe?

Or are we with Trump's America and Putin's Russia?

That's what it comes down to.

We must choose Europe.

I have covered presidential politics for 40 years. This was the most juvenile display by a President and Vice President I have ever seen. Other presidents treated their enemies with more respect. This is a low point and a dark day for the US. Totally embarrassing.

Basecamp manages projects in 6-weeks cycles.

Intelligence isn't about having all the answers. It's about knowing how to find them. For founders, this means developing three things:

- Pattern Recognition
- Systematic Discovery
- Value Sensing:

I usually don’t do politics here. But this message from my daughter, who’s a paediatrician in Uganda, brings home the real consequences of America’s descent into early ‘30s isolationism-- and perhaps worse. Imbeciles stroke their egos in DC, and babies in Africa die.

For years, I've been recommending Rob Fitzpatrick's "The Mom Test" as one of the 5 essential books for startup founders. It's still an essential read, but @mjwhansen.com's book is the next step--a master class!

Startup tips: Solve the Bottleneck First🎯.

Biggest rookie mistake? Trying to do it all at once. Focus on your customers’ biggest pain point—the bottleneck. Fix that, and you clear the path to scale. Less rework, faster dev, stronger foundation. Solve hard first; the rest gets easier.

This was one of the essential tools Einstein and Feynman used to figure things out.
Also a great test of startup ideas.
If you can’t say it simply, you don’t understand it.

Good news: This points to a solution:

Work hard at writing it out simply.

It’s still hard to do obviously, but you have a way of chipping away at it, testing ideas, figuring out what’s still a mystery.

overplanning is procrastination in disguise.
Startups get stuck in “analysis paralysis,” perfecting roadmaps that fall apart the moment reality hits.
Flexible frameworks beat rigid plans every time.

Some politicians tell us that people don’t want to talk about Brexit, and less about Rejoin.

I get that people feel scammed and humiliated by Farage and Johnson.

But we need to give people permission to talk about Brexit again. It’s OK to feel angry.

This is the start of the road to Rejoin.
