Last night Starship 36 from SpaceX exploded. A 2.9 billion dollar contract with NASA. Every explosion is taxpayer funded hardware going up in flames. That 2.9 billion could have funded roughly 983 million school lunches. The people in control of the wealth are idiots.

CDC was gutted today, entire departments wiped out, including much of the global HIV program. Career scientists and doctors lost their jobs overnight. This isn't just bureaucracy; people will die from preventable diseases, and public health will suffer for years. A massive step back for science.
