I’m so angry & heart broken. My NSF CAREER grant was stolen today; dream project supporting science teachers/students as climate justice action researchers, tackling urban heat. Truly transformative, the culmination of my life’s work, we won’t stop, not in this climate crisis. Gonna fight like hell!
I think a lot about hope in my climate justice work. Recently I got to hear the legend Angela Davis speak. She said hope is not something we find or search for, hope is something we GENERATE together. Holidays and beyond, here’s to building the world we deserve, together💪🏼🫶🏼. Broadcast 12/28,30,31 ⬇️

Yes. That’s why I say “don’t stop commenting” on SCOTUS decisions and practices. It matters.
Check out the Kavanaugh FN 4; I think it's pretty clear that the Kavanaugh Stop thing has gotten to him:

I'll think I'm used to seeing men wield sexual violence as a tool to reinforce their power, but it still manages to take my breath away. That's how I felt reading Epstein's letter to Larry Nassar about Trump. It's so transparent. So sick and twisted. And it's tolerated by far too many.

Friendly reminder to take a deep breath. Had no idea sorting sea glass from my weekly beach adventures with my boys could possibly be so therapeutic. Look at all the color variations!

It couldn’t possibly be the decades long devaluing/underfunding of public education or the snick above poverty line teacher salaries or the gutting of STEM education research, or AI interference, or the demolishing of the literal federal DOE…..right?!
Test scores in U.S. schools are down. Are smartphones to blame?
Researchers are examining whether a decline in reading and math scores over the last decade is related to the widespread use of smartphones by young people.

The idea of framing this vainglorious billionaire lot as modern day versions of the gritty, hard-bitten, working class, manual laborers who, for a pittance of wages, risked their lives and used their hands to make real the skyscraper dreams of the wealthy and middle classes is….lunacy.
I guess it's fitting that it's a reimagined, worse version of someone else's artwork
