Agreed! 🙏🏼to @jonseidel.bsky.social and journalists @chicago.suntimes.com reporting on the savage horrors of ICE including Judge Sara Ellis’s warning to Bovino that children in Halloween costumes must not be terrorized/tear gassed….we have fallen so far that a federal judge must say this!

And then at the end of the demolition, the decision from SCOTUS will finally come back that none of it was legal but oh well. Such a literal analogy for our times/democracy! Also, petty I realize, but this is the ugly plan??

I hear that, completely. And, I protested, have tons of pictures of real life protesters, including this epic angler fish. I don’t feel remotely devalued by this. AI is often used to distort the truth and yet this isn’t an example. What if it was clearly labeled as AI generated (I realize it’s not)?

I gotta say, as a parent, this is a damn cool way to teach my kids what democracy looks like! One exclaimed wow mom, look at all these ppl! The other, so proud of his frog sign. Also helps them see it’s not just their weird parents fighting for our rights! 🫶🏼💪🏼🐸👑🚫

The universe is so messed up sometimes, I’m so sorry, sending love and strength. This young man was making bubbles the other night and it was the most calming thing I’ve seen in a while. His dad told me he struggles with severe anxiety and this practice helps ground him 🫶🏼

I was just in Copenhagen presenting my terminated dream #NSF CAREER #climate justice grant research at the European Science Education Research Association #ESERA conference w/ a global group eager to talk climate change ed & innovation. Europe is on it!! This shirt helps me imagine how it could be!

Proof of my upbringing, my sister and I (right) were stoked to meet Lynn Dickey the QB at the time lol. Do they still do that cool thing where they meet kids/ride their bikes from stadium to training fields in the summer???
