ICE only has about 20-30,000 employees nationwide. Including desk jobs so there's even fewer armed. It's smaller than the NYPD.
There's a reason they do their mega raids on one or two cities at a time, and it's not optics. It's because that's all the dudes they've got.

Okay, wear layers. Read up on how they did it back in the 60s and 70s. Every protest is a potential riot. Linking arms and sitting down or marching arms linked has been seen as an attempt to resist arrest, don't do it. Some folks have carried tennis racquets to return lobbed tear gas grenades.
