Investigations into Trump’s companies have demonstrated they cooked their books and lied to avoid accountability, bent rules to avoid taxes, etc. There was no reason to think he would run the government differently.

If the Social Security Administration murals are being sold, we need legislation stopping it or guaranteeing they will be recovered later. Put the buyers on notice.

AI cannot take away jobs in building renewable energy infrastructure. So we should have more of those, not fewer.

But that industry didn’t bribe the Trump and the GOP hard enough. So we are getting more oil and coal.

When I was a kid playing football in the 1970s, coaches told us to keep our heads up when making a tackle. When did that stop? How many concussions are caused by tacklers lowering their helmets?

Can we have House resolutions denouncing the Horrors of Capitalism and Colonialism? How many people have been starved and robbed by both? How many have been killed in wars protecting both? How many have been oppressed to benefit the elites?

Yellowstone national park is witnessing a striking ecological recovery, driven by the return of one of the US’s most iconic species, the bison.
There’s good news out there if you look for it. 🦬

I saw a post about the Democrats leaving FDR behind when they embraced neoliberalism in the Clinton era. Then they became corporate servants like the Republicans. We need a Democratic candidate who is an advocate of FDR-style progressivism. Return the party to its roots among workers and farmers.

The Epstein story gets a something that is tearing at the heart of the electorate: elite impunity. The idea that wealthy and powerful people can do terrible things *at scale* and face no consequences for them. Whatever political party actually stops it could rule the country for a generation.

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.
