In Germany it's really easy and cheap to make prints, so obviously the first thing I tried is some #gunplaphotography - and I figure I might as well frame it and put it in the workspace... #gundam

Detailing before and after for some Psycho Gundam feet (I did two, two more to go). Got some good time with my new DSPIAE tools. Now all I have to do is work my way up the mobile suit... #gunpla

Now that I'm back from a couple trips, I can finally take inventory of all the new stuff I bought for my gunpla #GBWC project, including paints, Bandai™ decals, scribing tools, and builder parts. I'm still salty about having to use Bandai decals, hopefully they aren't as bad as I remember.

As someone who builds models AND pays attention to the anime, this kind of thing is annoying, but sadly Bandai believes the market has spoken on whether anime accuracy matters. GBWC sure doesn't seem to care either.

This is a brush-painted model of a modified Requiem for Revenge Zaku
Besides the colour scheme, changes were done to further align it to the traditional Zaku.

Posting some artistic process; or how to over-think panel lines. The HGUC Psycho Gundam Mk-II is a giant blank slate so lots (too many) options. I keep having to remind myself to hold back since I'm the one who will be scribing these. #gunpla #scalemodel

Experimented with adding some polystyrene bits for extra detail to the HGUC Psycho Gundam Mk-II. I have a ton of strips of different sizes now, and I plan to abuse them. #gunpla #Gundam #customgunpla

Inscrutable obelisk-thing is one of the transformations of all time, but it's growing on me. Probably never going to do it again, but it's neat to try (HGUC Psycho Gundam Mk. II). #gunpla

Not a bad gunpla Christmas haul. Will be a fun year of custom building, I'm really looking forward to it. I have grand plans for GBWC 2026 I need to write up. #gundam

I like this picture because you don't really get a sense of the scale of, even having built it and doing hours of taking and editing photos. It's... not really that big. #gundam #gunpla #scalemodel #diorama

So upon reviewing the rules for the Gunpla Builder's World Cup, my entry may or may not be disqualified due to third-party decals.
Mega sigh.
I meant this to be a learning experience for ~big project~ next year, and I guess that's happening. Some of these pictures looks pretty OK though. #Gundam

After spending all my free time for weeks working on it, rushing to get it finished before the #GBWC deadline, I finally got my diorama ready enough to stick in my photo booth, as the last thing I do before bed (and work tomorrow).
