Very carefully... I would use a hobby knife. These weird shapes are where you have to use sponge or sandpaper, not sticks or files, if you're trying to shave it down.

Looks dope!

It wasn't like an impossible challenge, but I could understand how a newer builder or someone coming in cold would not have a great time. I did have two or three parts snap on me, too, which is not normal.

Wow, colors look really interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing more!

I have some old plyers that come out when things aren't going so well

Neat camo!

Ha, this kit has a well deserved reputation. I'm glad I did it for the experience but it is in permanent Waverider mode forever now.

RG Sazabi is a great kit, but Zig-Mack is the clear choice here

Yep, although I do remember the old US marketing of "Action Figure Model Kit"

Thanks - yeah, we'll see. Supposedly they have the option to exclude things from judging rather than outright DQ, so it's going to be up to the individual judges.

A lot of these third party kits are fundamentally uncreative in their redesigns, it's just cranking up the edginess and level of detail for very surface-level appeal.

More angles! More spikes! More panels! Radical! Extreme bro!

Interesting, Gunpla is nonexistent here so I bought war game paints (Germany)
November 10, 2025 at 12:23 PM
Wow what kit is that?
November 10, 2025 at 12:22 PM
Have fun and wear a mask!
November 9, 2025 at 10:41 PM
It is in a sad state, its true
November 9, 2025 at 10:40 PM
Nice! Looks good!
November 9, 2025 at 10:39 PM
I would use the stickers honestly, it's very hard to beat them since they are already the right shape and metallic.
November 9, 2025 at 10:39 PM
Top coats don't have to be matte though
November 9, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Thank you for your kind words! It helps these longer projects feel worth it
