Vent. Will likely delete later.
Every time I set an accommodation for myself at home, someone in my family messes it up to where I struggle. And when I do struggle, its always my fault. I keep trying to get others to get my consent before venting to me but I STILL get several people not asking me. And a number of times lately I've been feeling horrible myself and I have to push that all aside for another persons problems. I do want to help but I also want to have my boundaries respected in turn. I make statuses on discord saying not to message me and let me have some space to myself but I'll always get someone who messages me anyway and then I'll feel forced to get back to them out of fear they'll get upset if I DONT. I try to make jokes nowadays that are pretty obviously jokes and at LEAST one person will think I'm not joking and talk to me like I'm just stupid about the topic I'm joking about. I try so hard to be more vocal and socialize in calls and such, try to open up but I just feel like an outcast. It worsens when I get constantly talked over, interrupted or don't even get a chance to speak at all. I listen to others spill their hearts about their hobbies and interests, and even if I don't know anything about it, nor really care for the genre? I still try my best to listen and let others know their interests are. I'm always the listener, but I barely have anybody willing to listen to me the same way. I just kind of feel like I live in a world that isn't FOR me, and that I don't exist for myself at all. Most of the time I don't feel like I even exist unless I'm fixing others problems. I don't HATE helping others out, but it'd just be nice if I had some respect for my boundaries AND received the same support and care that I try to share with others. And I feel like a horrible person feeling the way I do. Like I'm not allowed to feel this way because it makes me a bad person. I remember one time when I was younger and two people I knew got into a fight, one of my now ex-friends told me I HAVE to "be the glue" to keep them together, keep THINGS together. I honestly don't even feel like a person at this point. I'm just HERE. Here to be either a punching bag, a caretaker, or something in-between. Its gotten to a point where I feel like I HAVE to fix anything and everything that goes wrong, even if it has nothing to do with me. Even if I'm tired. Even if I feel like I wanna die. I've been told I don't HAVE to be this way, but genuinely how true IS that..? I don't exist if it's for myself. I only exist if its for someone else. DO I even actually exist at all? I don't even know what I'm like anymore. I just know I reverted back to hating myself, but I have to be strong for someone else. It doesn't matter what I want to be, how I'm feeling or how it could affect me. I don't have a choice 'cus I'm not a person.
