If our government was worth a damn (it’s not) they’d have blocked any acquisition of Warner Bros Discovery on anti-trust grounds. But since they’re not, we have to wait and see if the future will be the death of movie theaters or free expression.

A lot of pundits fail to account for regional and statewide issues that affect a lot of campaigns. National issues aren’t the only things people care about when voting
Pundits really need to live in swing states. Nothing in this makes sense to Democrats running in North Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Arizona, etc.
I don't think it helps the debate about what Democrats should do to pick an obscure thing that some Democrat somewhere may have said -- like on teaching eighth grade algebra -- and then attribute it to Democrats generally.

One of my favorite facts about Greek mythology is that when Perseus killed Medusa, there was no great battle or intense match of skills that had them going all out against each other. Instead, Perseus decapitated her while she was asleep.
